Asda 2001 - 2005

As you might have gathered from the photograph, I have finally left the employment of ASDA Stores Limited in Farnborough.

Four years of pent-up bile finally boiled over, and a wetted my shoes. You could say that I haven’t enjoyed my time working for the company, and to this end I had great enjoyment in burning my badge, photos of that can be found on [Flickr][2].

As to why I decided to leave, I have a number of reasons including the customers, buttock clenching boredom of till work, low intelligence and ambition of my co-workers and management. However, it came to ahead when, I expressed a desire to travel to France for the weekend to film a Sky Travel series with Mike. As I had plenty of leave left this year, and an unblemished track record with the company, I expected everything to be hunky dory, however I was stunned when I was asked by my manager “do you really think that’s more important than Asda?”

A burgeoning career working as a travel cameraman… or working on tills in a shitty supermarket? At that point, I knew I needed to get out.
